Celebrate New Years Eve 2012 In Asheville, NC ~ Where else could you expect this much fun on the last night of the year? From a funk jam to a furball, Asheville NC is the best place to countdown 2012!  

* Masquerade Furball – Party in style for homeless pets ~ benefit for Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. Tickets include heavy appetizers, drinks, music, local entertainment, door prizes & a large silent auction. Dress is cocktail attire for ladies, suit and tie for gentleman. Bring your own stylish mask or one will be provided. $40 per person, $75 per couple. (10 minute walk) 

* Pack’s Tavern New Years Countdown: Full buffet, 3 floors, 2 DJ’s, Champagne toast, toppers & more. Buffet & Countdown ticket $35, Countdown ticket only $10) 

* New Years Eve Party at the Market Place Restaurant – a special menu featured and a DJ for cocktails & dancing until the countdown.

* Tressa's Annual New Year's Eve Bash! - Free buffet, champagne toast at midnight and music by the Charles Walker band. The music is a mix of funk, R&B and spontaneity - Asheville's favorite New Years Eve tradition.  (7 minute walk) 

* Old Farmer's Ball New Year's Eve Contra Dance – at Warren Wilson College, dance to live music by Perpetual e-Motion. (20 minute drive) 

* Toubab Krewe - The Orange Peel, Stop by Craggie Brewing Company to enjoy their namesake Towbab Brewe before you head over to the jam at 10PM. (12 minute walk)

* New Year's Eve With Acoustic Syndicate - Playing at the Grey Eagle Tavern & Music Hall is Acoustic Syndicate, rock/folk/bluegrass 9PM. (5 minute drive)

* Asheville Tantra School presents an open mic cabaret and burlesque partay. Light aphrodisiac drinks and snacks (intoxicant free). $10 at the door. 8p (10 minute drive)

* New Years Eve Masquerade at Metropolis: epic dj line up, aerial acrobatics, hoola hoop, belly dance performance & more. $15 in advance, $25 at the door. 9pm (5 minute walk)

* Funk / Jam party into the  New Year with Yo Mamma’s Big Fat Booty Band & SCI FI at the Asheville Music Hall. $10 in advance, $15 at the door. 9pm (6 minute walk)

* Masquerade jazz party at MoDaddy’s featuring One Leg Up & Vertigo Jazz Project. Photo booth, balloon drop & champagne toast at midnight. Have a jazzy New Years Eve! $15 at the door (10 minute walk)

* Enjoy a gypsy-punk New Years with Serious B. at the Emerald Lounge. A local Asheville band with serious soul for your New Years Eve celebration. $12 at the door. 

*** Indulge in style at the One Fifty One Boutique Bar & Bistro: The delightful sounds of Juan Benevidos flamenco guitar trio and a delectable made-from-scratch celebratory dinner with an elegant champagne toast at midnight. ***
